October 3 - October 9 is Fire Prevention Week. In October we are always reminded to learn and remember rules for staying safe from fire and for learning what to do in case of a fire. The theme this year is to learn the fire safety sounds. Visit the October page on this website to learn more! https://washlib2013.weebly.com/october-activities.html

WoW! We made it through a pandemic year! You have been patient! Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff members who worked with me to make STEAM fun and informative. I am not sure I will be back next year! I hope you will continue to explore the world. Be curious. Have fun! My website will be available through June and July! Feel free to use these pages. If something is not linked or the link has expired, feel free to contact me: [email protected]. If you won't have access to the internet through the summer, check out this website before you turn in your computer. https://www.steamsational.com/june-steam-activities/ Ask parents to print some of the activities or copy the instructions for the ones you want to do. (Don't print the whole website.) Another good website is the Global Design Squad https://pbskids.org/designsquad/ There are several offline activities that you will enjoy! If you complete any projects, please take a video or a picture of your project and send it to me. I would love to see what you are up to. Have a safe and fun summer! J. White
