Tuesday was the first day of Tech Camp. I think I have a very good group. I hope they have a good time. Today we opened e-mails and started our webpage. Eight people attended the class. Some were late, but I think they caught up.
Welcome to a new school year. I am looking forward to working with you. This year will be another Olympic year. I want everyone to strive for the gold in all areas, including behavior.
I predict that everyone is going to have fun at the party. At first I think everyone will eat the egg salad sandwiches and drink the punch. When Otis feels comfortable, I think he will pull out his guitar and start playing music. Then everyone will get up and dance. Everyone will have a great time and become friends forever.
I spent most of the time on my Spring Break laying around and watching television. I went to see the musical, Matilda, with my sister. The play was very good and the children in the production were phenomenal. I love the music. I also had an opportunity to go to my friend's new house. Amy Duhig use to teach at Washington. Now she is at a school in Bolingbrook. Her house is really beautiful. On Saturday my sisters and I took my cousin to lunch for her birthday. We went to Miracles From Heaven. The new theater, Block 37, had Dine In facilities and we were able to eat lunch while we watched the movie. So all in all the vacation was fun and relaxing. Block 37 is a building in downtown Chicago which houses retail stores, move theaters and apartments.
I will spend Easter Sunday with my family. For the rest of the break, I will play games on my computer and my iPad. I also plan to get some new furniture. I need a bed and a couch. I need to get in my garage and toss things that I haven't used in years. If there is a nice weather day, I will take my mom to the Botanical Gardens. This is a very beautiful place near Chicago.
I love spring because of the change of weather. I don't like driving on snow and ice. I love waking up and it's light outside. When it's warm enough, you can hear the birds. When I was younger spring meant new Easter clothes and Spring Break. It also meant spring cleaning. My dad made us clean the house from top to bottom. It was a lot of work, but there were six kids, so it only took us a couple of days.
This is what I do each day.
1. I wake up. 2. I turn on the TV. 3. I iron my clothes 4. Take my shower. 5. I get dressed. 6. I go to work. 7. I go home or to the pool to exercise. 8. I watch TV. 9. I fix/eat dinner. 10. I watch more TV or work on my computer. 11. I go to bed. I think Opal is not lonely anymore because she has made new friends. Sweetie Pie likes her right away. Of course, she has Winn-Dixie and now she has a job. Opal seems to also have a better relationship with her dad.
